Victoria and Albert museumHarrods, the leading luxury department store in the world

People say that Victoria and Albert museum is the leading museum of art and design in the whole world. It is located in South Kensington near the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum. The entrance fee is free of charge as in all national museums in London.
The museum was opened in 1852 as a repository for decorative arts, intended to stimulate designers as well as collectors. Currently the V&A includes 145 galleries, and its collection spans 5,000 years of art, from ancient times to the present day, from the cultures of Europe, North America, Asia and North Africa.
