Cyprus, Cuckoo's nest

The cuisine of Cyprus is closely related to Greek and Turkish cuisine. Undoubtedly, the best way to taste local food is visiting a traditional tavern. You definitely should try meze, which is a large selection of dishes with small helpings of varied foods, brought to the table as a progression of tastes and textures.
One of the taverns I discovered in the streets of Limassol was Cuckoo's Nest, which is run by the old lady.

The atmosphere in Cuckoo's Nest is warm as at grandmother's home.

Some made dish. Homemade. Unique. Only 8 euro.

It is better to buy fruit in such specialised shops, because it is always fresh and it is always of good quality there.

A popular among local people pastry shop in the centre of Limassol.

Colourful places in the Old Port.

Young people are hanging out in the old port.
