Egypt, Ancient Luxor

The ancient columns

Luxor is a city on the east bank of the Nile River in southern Egypt. It is located about 500 kilometres south of Cairo. Luxor is often called the world’s greatest open-air museum. Nothing in the world can compare to the scale and grandeur of the monuments that have survived from ancient Thebes.
Karnak temple, Luxor temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens offer the magnificent views and grant vivid impressions.
