Valencia, The Art and The Beach

The graffiti on the house's wall The Fine Arts Museum in Valencia

The Fine Arts Museum (Museo de Bellas Artes) is free to enter. So, I could not miss opportunity to visit it. The main guiding line would be Torres Serranos. You will easily find its blue dome across the Turia Gardens. People say, that it is the second most important art collection in Spain.

The museum is largely dominated by 13th-15th century iconography and the golden age of 17th century Baroque. There are also works from the Renaissance and the 18-19th century movements. You can find here Nicolau, Alcanyis, Peris, Mateu, Esteve, Ribaltas, Espinosa, El Greco, Murillo, March and even the occasional Ribera, van Dyck, Bosch, Velazquez and Goya.

Such a nice sunny day I continued on the beach.

The supper was in Taberna el Balconcillo with the variety of tapas. This charming restaurant is located close to Sant Vincent Martir street.
